Thanks,
Due to this item the engine light in my Chevy Prizm 1998 was on all the time. Once I installed this baby in, the engine light went away for good in a few days. |
Best price on the web

This oxygen sensor is an exact replacement for the front sensor on a 2002 Toyota Corolla. The electrical connector is pre-installed. For this price, there is no point in bothering with a universal type of sensor where you must cut off the old connector and solder it to the new leads.
Be warned that installation on a 2002 Corolla is a bear. The problem is mechanical interference from the bolts that hold the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold. I had to use a carbide disk in a Dremel tool equipped with the flexible extension attachment to grind off the interference. What a back breaker!!! Use a file to cut a bit of a flat on the sensor's mounting flange before installation, and you'll have no problem with any future removal. I wish Toyota had done the same with the original sensor. |
Shipped promptly and saved me $$!

| My check engine light code indicated my need for this sensor. Buying via Amazon.com was very efficient and cost effective. I fortunately got a local mechanic to install it and now the problem is resolved. |
